To Grow or…Just Grow

It’s amazing how much the Father loves each of us. On our good days it seems like there is no question at all, but when the trial hits, we discover the lack of confidence we really have in knowing that He does. God doesn’t give the enemy the details of His plan when He permits the enemy to do what he has inquired to do. In the permitting, the enemy believes he gained some ground to torment or disrupt certain areas of our life, but in reality the Father is using the trial (trying of our faith, trying of our relationship with the Father, proving and founding what we are solid in and exposing what it is we need to increase in) to show how much we love Him, how much we truly are willing or rather to see our own limits. Why? Because we need to build capacity. When we are already professing, we are full, then how can we hold what He has for us. Either we empty our cup or we get a bigger one. Each have a time and need for specific seasons. I would encourage you to do both. Empty the nonsense, empty the YOU, your flesh, your agenda, your perceived direction (it was never for you to figure it out, God will guide you). Not only will this increase capacity in what you possess, but it will also make the process a bit smoother to increase the size of your cup. Growth has growing pains, quit weighing the perceived notion that the pain is greater and too much for the outcome…that is called fear and future trippin’. Also, we can’t judge what the outcome is because it is a capacity that we have yet to experience. It’s like saying 6’3” is too tall, I will get nose bleeds, when you’re only 5’1”. Later you discover that’s not really all that tall when you go to a basketball court and those 6’10” guys don’t get nose bleeds because of their height. The narrow mindedness, the fear we perceive is actually what prevents, hurts, and limits…and then you blame the Father or others for it.
If you want different, then do different. Own your stuff, be honest with yourself, and by all means throw in the towel and quit fighting the very things that have caused you to remain in a distracted state. Surrender to wanting what the Father has for you, which is so much better than we can achieve or obtain in our own power. If a prophetic word has you pushing toward a mark, then toss it aside for now and look at what today holds. What you will find is that when you focus on what the Father wants today will be steps toward fulfilling that prophecy. Further, all prophecy is in part, there are aways details and what seems our perception of time is, missing, and the conditions that surround it. His word does not return to him void, so if you choose to walk away, then someone in your bloodline will the prophecy be fulfilled.
Ask yourself, why would a parent give a five year old a brand new vehicle when there is no way they can even obtain the proper instruction, permits, license, etc. to operate it? Even if a parent did, the vehicle would sit, it would not be able to be used as it is to be, it could only be used in very little ways but not what it was built for. In turn, it will deteriorate, just sitting around, like atrophy of a muscle in a cast for length of time. Don’t think you’re the exception. Choose to grow your capacity. Choose to examine yourself so you know where to shift, to fix, to repent, to be more kind, to love more, etc. so you can get out of the way and be less of a hinderance of your own outcome, that you can receive the very thing you’re unable to hold, operate, and use to its fullest.

Romans 8:38-39 KJV – “38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Job 2:3-6 KJV – “3 And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that [there is] none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause. 4 And Satan answered the LORD, and said, Skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life. 5 But put forth thine hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will curse thee to thy face. 6 And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, he [is] in thine hand; but save his life.”

Hebrews 10:23 KJV – “23 Let us hold fast the profession of [our] faith without wavering; (for he [is] faithful that promised;)”

Romans 5:3-4 KJV – “3 And not only [so], but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; 4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope:”

James 1:3-6, 12-13 KJV – “3 Knowing [this], that the trying of your faith worketh patience. 4 But let patience have [her] perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. 5  If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all [men] liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. 6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. … 12 Blessed [is] the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. 13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:”

1 Peter 1:7-8 KJV – “7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: 8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see [him] not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:”

Psalm 23:5 KJV – “5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.”

John 3:30 KJV – “30 He must increase, but I [must] decrease.”

1 Corinthians 13:9-10 KJV – “9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.”

Isaiah 55:11 KJV – “11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper [in the thing] whereto I sent it.”

2 Corinthians 13:5 KJV – “5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?”

1 Corinthians 13:11 KJV – “11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.”
